We are looking for a Duty Manager to join our team! As Duty Manager, you will play a key leadership role across all hotel operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, seamless guest experiences, and effective support for all departments. This is a hands‑on role suited to a confident hospitality professional who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys leading teams while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring all departments are guest-ready and operating to the highest standards.
Lead and support teams during busy service periods while promoting a positive and professional working environment.
Welcome and assist guests, ensuring exceptional guest experiences at all times.
Complete Duty Manager reports, shift handovers, and operational checklists.
Monitor hotel presentation, security, maintenance, and compliance with Health&Safety and Fire Safety procedures.
Support staff training, performance development, and operational standards across departments.
Handle guest feedback ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Lead daily operational briefings and communicate key guest information
Support the hotel's sustainability and Green Hospitality initiatives, including reducing energy, water, and operational waste.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous supervisory or Duty Manager experience within a busy hotel environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A hands‑on, guest‑focused approach with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work calmly and professionally in a fast‑paced environment.
Flexible to work evenings and weekends on a 5 over 7 rota.
Positive, motivated, and passionate about hospitality and teamwork.
