Overview

Skerries Mills are searching for a Caretaker to assist in the installation and maintenance of the natural environment around the Mills. This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. Duties

Maintaining gardens and lawns. Caring for and cultivating foliage including planting, fertilising, weeding, watering, trimming and pruning; soil conditioning and applying pesticides. Ensuring pathways, stairs, indoor seating and other structures are safe. Preparing outdoor areas for various weather conditions by weatherproofing and tying down unsecured items, etc.Operating and maintaining on-site equipment. Inspecting all community spaces daily to identify problems with litter. Responding to requests from property managers and maintenance services as needed. Ensuring the parking lot and sidewalks are free from litter and debris. Maintaining sprinkler system and trash receptacles on the premises.Managing general maintenance tasks related to the grounds.
