Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale mechanical projects from start-up through completion. The successful candidate will manage project resources, coordinate with contractors and clients, ensure timely delivery, and maintain all project documentation. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple project elements simultaneously.Responsibilities
Attend project start-up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects of the project. Deliver assigned projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Review and familiarize yourself with all project specifications, drawings, and details. Collate, submit, and track technical submittals through to approval.Maintain and update labour trackers. Prepare weekly progress reports and manage changes or variations as they arise. Liaise with the main contractor and the client’s site team to ensure smooth workflow and alignment. Oversee coordination, delivery, and installation of project plant and equipment.Ensure sufficient materials are available at all times to maintain progress. Develop construction and commissioning programs and implement commissioning plans on site. Documentation&Coordination
Manage the project handover process and maintain all document management systems. Attend meetings with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of work packages. Attend general site meetings and address any actions raised. Communicate innovative or project-specific methodologies to the Contracts Manager for R&D purposes. Qualifications&Experience
Extensive experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or in a similar mechanical project delivery role. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects. Qualification in Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or Project Management (preferred). Experience supervising teams and coordinating multiple trades.Additional Information
