Role Overview The utilities maintenance technician is responsible for the execution of the preventive and corrective maintenance programme as per client (PPU) requirements. The Technician will work as part of the Veolia Utilities team in supporting commissioning activities and preparing for sustaining operations at a pharmaceutical site. Tasks include system walk‑downs; authoring procedures&maintenance plans; and system operations in support of commissioning activities.

Shift Work Shift work will be required.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Walk‑downs and snagging of utilities systems (water treatment, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC&clean utilities) prior to mechanical completion tagging.
Define maintenance plans and SOPs for site utilities systems.
Review spare parts requirements.
Complete on‑site and vendor training.
Operate site utilities in support of commissioning.
Assist in definition of site safety systems.
Operate, maintain and troubleshoot site black&clean utilities systems.
Complete all related documentation in compliance with site and regulatory rules and guidelines.
Deliver delegated engineering tasks in accordance with good engineering practice and all regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements.
Keep training current in line with the client’s requirements (SOPs, EWI’s, etc.).
Ensure all work on site is carried out in accordance with the site EHS and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
Required Skills
2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
Senior trade qualification (City&Guilds or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Building Services engineering.
Experience in marine environments at sea highly desirable.
Knowledge of mechanical/environmental systems.

If you are a non‑EU/EEA national, you will need current and valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland.
