Our client is a leading Irish construction materials company operating a large nationwide fleet of heavy vehicles. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their busy garage team. The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of cement bottle trucks and HGVs, ensuring the fleet remains compliant, roadworthy, and operating efficiently. Trade qualification is not essential; however, previous experience working on HGVs or heavy commercial vehicles is required.Responsibilities

Service, maintain, and repair cement bottle trucks and HGVs Prepare vehicles for CVRT testing Complete 13-week inspections and preventative maintenance checks Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults Carry out repairs on brakes, suspension, hydraulics, and engine systemsMaintain accurate service and inspection records The Person

Qualified HGV Mechanic or strong heavy vehicle experience Experience with CVRT preparation and scheduled inspections Good knowledge of diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team The Offer

Salary of 60,000 - 70,000 Long-term position with a well-established company Modern workshop and excellent facilities Training and progression opportunities available
