PEGlobaliscurrentlyrecruitingforaMS&TScientistforaleadingmulti-nationalPharmaclientbasedinSouthDublin.
Thisisacontractposition.
Role: BMSCruiserathBiologicsisseekingtorecruitascientistwithinManufacturingScienceandTechnologytosupporttheoperationofthedownstreamlab.Therolewillalsoprovideadegreeofsupporttobothupstreamandprocessanalyticswhenbusinessneedsrequire.Thisisa12monthcontractlab-basedroleandwillrequireconsistentpresenceonsite.Therewillbetheoccasionalneedforweekendwork(daysonly).
Responsibilities:
ExecutionofalldownstreamprocessstepsintheMS&Tlabs,includingcolumnchromatography,UF/DFandfiltration
Designofexperimentalapproachestoaddressmanufacturingchallenges
SupportofupstreamMS&Tlabswithbioreactorsamplinganddatacollection
SupportofprocessanalyicsMS&Tlabswithexecutionofspecificanalyticalassays
Engagementwithsitesafetyandtrainingprogramstoensurecompliancewithmetrics
CollaboratewithManufacturing,QA,QC,Regulatory,SupplyChainandotherfunctionstosupportfacilityfitassessments,specificationchanges,technicalevaluationsandchangemanagement.
Supporttroubleshootingofmanufacturingprocess-relatedeventsandevaluatenewprocesstechnologiesusingscale‑downmodels.
MaintainknowledgeofcGMPcompliance,siterequirementsandregulatoryexpectations.
Requirements:
DegreeinBiologicalorChemicalSciences/Engineeringpreferred,withatleast1yeardirectlabexperienceworkinginthedownstreamspace
Strongorganisationalskills,attentiontodetail,andabilitytointerpretandcommunicatedata.Abilitytoidentifyscientific/operationalgapsandproposesolutions.
Self‑motivated,abletoworkindependently,andeffectiveinateamenvironment.
Specificexperienceinupstreamorprocessanalyticsisnotrequired,trainingwillbeprovided
