Asset Manager, Australia

An opportunity for an experienced Solar Asset and Operations professional to join one of the world's leading renewable energy IPPs as the Asset Manager for a utility-scale portfolio in Australia. In addition to Asset Management, this individual will also play a key role in supporting the company's growth in the region, to include developing its functions and capacity. The Role: Play a key role in the development of processes, policies and procedures to ensure cross-functional requirements are fulfilled. Optimise asset returns through the analysis of systems and identification of opportunities to maximise performance. Review SPV contracts and other contractual obligations, including insurance. Regular use of monitoring platform to review site performance. Monitor and control/responsibility for all budgets related to assets. Support Financial Controller with P&L analysis and budgets. Preparation and deliver of stakeholder reporting. Ensure main contractors (EPC & O&M) are compliant with relevant obligations. Lead negotiation of O&M contracts with selected partners. Hands-off facilitation from project management to operational management of compliance activities. The Requirements: Experience in the development and asset management of renewable energy (PV solar and/or wind) assets Min. 3+ years experience in the asset management of renewable energy assets, ideally in an Australian/international environment Experience working for a Financial Investor, IPP or vertically integrated developer in the renewable energy space Engineer, Finance/Economics or comparable degree education is required Fluency in English language Ability to work effectively under time pressure and constraints Positive and proactive attitude, complimented by strong problem-solving skills
