Audit Senior, Bray

Overview My client is seeking a skilled an experienced Audit Senior to join their team in Wicklow. The successful candidate will lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and contribute to the growth and development of their firm.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Review client financial statements, disclosures, and other relevant documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Identify areas for process improvement and provide recommendations to clients based on audit findings.

Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness to client needs.

Collaborate with partners and other team members to identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services to clients.

Contribute to firm-wide initiatives, such as training programs, quality assurance reviews, and business development activities.

Qualifications

Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent professional certification.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing.

Strong understanding of auditing standards, principles, and practices.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Prior experience in supervising and mentoring staff is desirable.
