Lead Technician
to join their expanding team. The company is at the forefront of Ireland’s renewable energy transition, providing innovative and reliable solutions for a variety of applications, both on and off-grid. Their cutting-edge technology is helping to shape the future of energy storage in Ireland and beyond.Role Overview
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical assembly work with responsibility for guiding a small workshop team. The successful candidate will have strong electrical and/or mechanical skills, a sharp eye for detail, and proven experience in delivering high-quality builds within a workshop environment.Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day assembly of advanced energy systems in the workshop Carry out electrical panel assembly, wiring, and functional testing Supervise and support workshop technicians, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentationUndertake fabrication tasks such as cutting, fitting, drilling, and fixing components when required Maintain excellent workshop standards, including housekeeping, organisation, and safe working practices Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve technical issues quickly and effectivelyMonitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification Skills&Experience
Experience in electrical panel assembly Background in fabrication or mechanical assembly an advantage Strong hands-on workshop skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to read and work from technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams Previous experience supervising or mentoring workshop staff desirableOrganised, proactive, and committed to safe working practices Qualifications
Electrical or mechanical trade qualification preferred (equivalent experience also considered) Additional training or experience in fabrication, wiring, or assembly an advantage Why apply
