Qualified
Electrician
to join their expanding team. The company is at the forefront of Ireland’s renewable energy transition, providing innovative and reliable solutions for a variety of applications, both on and off-grid. You will be supporting the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of renewable energy battery storage systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical systems, a strong commitment to safety, and a passion for working in the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities
Installation&Commissioning
Perform electrical installation and commissioning of energy storage systems, including wiring, mounting inverters and batteries, installing main switches, and other related tasks. Program, configure, or adjust inverters and control systems for optimal operation. Conduct corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and mechanical components.
Quality&Compliance
Perform quality checks to ensure installations meet company standards and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and renewable energy standards. Monitor system performance and operational parameters to ensure optimal functionality.
Health&Safety
Follow all health and safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Participate in safety drills, training sessions, and maintain a proactive approach to workplace safety.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to achieve project goals. Assist in mentoring and training new staff members when required. Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth project execution.
Skills&Qualifications
Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., FETAC Level 6 Electrical Trade Certificate). RECI Certification. Proven experience in electrical installations and maintenance, ideally within renewable energy or similar industries. Familiarity with battery storage systems, inverters, and associated electrical equipment.Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently or within a team. Solid understanding of electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail. Full Irish driving license Benefits
