Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the design office to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Coordinate and collaborate with design teams, project managers, and external stakeholders.
Manage allocation and scheduling of resources across multiple design projects.
Develop and implement office policies, procedures, and best practices to improve productivity.
Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to company standards and client expectations.
Lead and support the recruitment, training, and professional development of design staff.
Maintain accurate records of project documentation, office expenses, and performance metrics.
Facilitate communication and foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective measures promptly.
Experience you need
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in office management, preferably within a design, architecture, or engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of project management principles and design workflows.
Excellent organisational, leadership, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with design software tools and project management software.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with diverse teams and clients.
Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
