Head of Commercial / Senior Leadership Role Overview We are seeking a
strategic and commercially minded Marketing Manager / Brand Manager
with experience in consumer-focused marketing and brand development. This role will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimising integrated marketing activities that increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and deliver measurable commercial results across key markets. The successful candidate will work across multiple channels—digital, social, trade, and retail—and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including sales, external agencies, and brand partners.
Key Responsibilities Brand Strategy&Execution
Develop and implement brand strategies that drive consumer demand, brand equity, and commercial performance.
Create compelling value propositions, messaging frameworks, and positioning that resonate with target audiences.
Ensure consistent brand experience across all touchpoints including digital, social, retail, PR, and trade communications.
Consumer Marketing&Campaigns
Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns including digital advertising, social media, influencer partnerships, PR initiatives, and in‑market activations.
Monitor performance metrics and optimise campaigns to maximise engagement and return on investment.
Collaborate with external partners (agencies, media, creative teams) to deliver high‑impact creative and strategic outputs.
Commercial&Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the sales function to support commercial objectives and identify opportunities for growth at retail and consumer levels.
Provide marketing support and materials tailored for retail partners and trade channels.
Partner with supply chain and commercial planning teams on new product introductions and portfolio strategies.
Budgeting&Performance Reporting
Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively across initiatives.
Track and report on brand performance, consumer insights, and key market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Use data, analytics, and market research to evaluate ROI and identify areas for optimisation.
Team Leadership&Development
Mentor and develop junior marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture.
Set clear objectives and performance metrics for direct reports.
About You– Skills&Experience Essential
4–7+ years’ experience
in brand management and marketing, ideally within consumer healthcare, OTC, FMCG, or related industries.
Proven track record in leading
consumer‑centric marketing campaigns
across digital, social, and traditional channels.
Strong understanding of
consumer insights, category trends, and shopper behaviour .
Commercial mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
Excellent
project management, organisation, and prioritisation skills .
Demonstrated experience in managing
external agencies
and collaborative projects.
Proficient with digital platforms, analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
Desirable
Experience working within distributor‑led brands or with international principals.
Prior people management or leadership experience.
Knowledge of the Irish pharmacy, healthcare, or grocery retail landscape.
