Food Hall Assistant, Kilmacanogue

We are looking for part-time Food Hall Assistants for our Avoca Kilmacanogue location. You will need to be available for week days and weekend work. The ideal candidates will have some experience in a similar position, and have excellent customer service skills. Knowledge and passion when it comes to all things food would be a distinct advantage. A can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is very important.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a high level of customer service
• Till and cash handling 
• Food product knowledge, merchandising, refilling areas etc.
• Barista Duties, managing a high volume of coffee orders
• Processing food orders for customers
• Ensuring all waste is managed correctly
• Assisting in the stock count process
• Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner

Requirements:

• Experience working in a deli desirable
• Barista experience desirable
• Good interpersonal skills
• Effective communicator
• Motivated & self driven
• Customer focused
