We are delighted to invite applications for the role of

Hotel Manager

at the prestigious 5-star Powerscourt Hotel Resort&Spa. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to join a high‑performing team within a renowned property celebrated for its outstanding guest experience and commitment to the highest standards.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused leader to oversee daily operations, supporting the General Manager, and ensure our guests consistently enjoy a memorable and seamless experience.

The Hotel Manager will report directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the hotel, supporting the General Manager and deputising in their absence, ensuring smooth and effective management across all departments.

Maintain a strong commercial focus, driving revenue growth, maximising profitability, and identifying new business opportunities.

Supervise and develop department heads and senior management, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Drive financial performance by managing costs, budgets, and KPIs while actively seeking opportunities to increase sales and enhance margins.

Collaborate with Front of House, Food&Beverage, Accommodation, Banqueting, and other departments to continually enhance the guest offering and overall experience.

Support HR initiatives including training, recruitment, appraisals, and staff engagement to maintain a motivated, high‑performing team.

Ensure full compliance with Marriott International brand standards, leading all operational audits and maintaining excellence across guest experience, service delivery, and property presentation in line with brand requirements.

Work closely with Sales&Marketing to maximise revenue, promote hotel offerings, and strengthen market share across key segments, including weddings and events.

Support sustainability initiatives and green programmes in line with company objectives.

What We’re Looking For

Strong leadership and organisational skills with a proven track record in hotel management at a senior level.

Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a guest‑first mindset.

Experience in leading and motivating high‑performing teams.

A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
