We are currently seeking a

Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM)

to

lead and support a nursing home team in Wicklow, Ireland .

Responsibilities Act as Person in Charge (PIC) in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), assuming 24/7 responsibility for clinical care and home operations when required.

Demonstrate a flexible approach to the needs of the home, including willingness to work nights, weekends, and on‑call duties as necessary.

Ensure the availability, maintenance, and safe operation of all equipment and supplies required for resident care.

Investigate and report critical incidents, accidents, or complaints promptly to the DON.

Maintain a strong clinical presence, engaging regularly with residents and families to monitor standards of care and address concerns.

Lead and support nursing staff in the delivery of person‑centred, evidence‑based care, ensuring compliance with HIQA National Standards.

Oversee clinical governance through auditing, quality monitoring, accurate documentation, and continuous improvement of care delivery.

Requirements Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

Minimum of 5 years’ post‑registration experience, preferably within a Nursing Home setting.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience of HIQA Standards and their application to the CNM role.
