Position Speech and Language Therapist (Grade 336Y)

Location Newtownmountkennedy, Wicklow; based in Tallaght, Co. Dublin with service travel across Leinster.

Contract Fixed‑term, 39 hours per week for 1 year.

Responsibilities

Deliver speech and language therapy to adult disability services, particularly in autism.

Conduct competency assessments for supported individuals.

Maintain high quality standards and be quality conscious.

Provide excellent communication, written and verbal skills.

Qualifications

Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy.

Minimum 2 years post‑graduate experience as a Speech and Language Therapist.

Current registration with CORU; registration with IASLT desirable.

Full, clean Irish driving licence with access to a vehicle and business insurance (minimum 2 years, aged 23+ for insurance).

Experience working in adult disability services, especially autism.

Knowledge of relevant legislation.

Skills

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and initiate work.

Ability to work as part of a clinical team.
