QC Specialist, Carlow

I am working with a global pharmaceutical client who are looking to hire up to 6 QC Specialists for their team, full time onsite and across shift work (33% premium) and non shift work roles. Shift Patterns include: x3 QC Specialists for 4 cycle, 12 hour shifts: Week 2: Short week: Wed and Thurs DaysWeek 3: Long week: Monday– Tuesday nights, Friday, Sat and Sun Days Week 4: Short week: Wednesday and Thurs Nights Requirements for days roles: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related Life Sciences field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in microbiology/QC, specifically in environmental monitoring and utilities monitoring, supporting site projects, trending, risk assessments, and data analysis.Ability to author procedures, change controls, deviations, reports, and work in line with regulatory/compendial requirements. Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and ability to drive improvements such as lean lab initiatives and method optimization. Strong microbiology background and strong understanding of aseptic processing, environmental monitoring programs, and contamination control in sterile manufacturing.Experience in a GMP QC laboratory with knowledge of regulatory expectations. Familiarity with ALCOA(+) data integrity principles, electronic laboratory systems, and controlled documentation. Entry- to early-career level with growing technical competence; able to perform routine tasks with limited discretion.Experience with problem solving, decision making, scheduling of laboratory testing/tasks is preferred. Requirements for 4 cycle shift roles: Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred in a Science discipline 1-2 years experience in a Quality Role at pharmaceutical manufacturing facility preferably aseptic manufacturingWorking knowledge of regulatory/code requirements to Irish, European and International Codes, Standards and Practices Knowledge of cGMP and GDP essential Report, standards, policy writing skills required Competent in the use of MES and SAP Interested in these positions?
