QC Micro Technician

to join a leading global healthcare manufacturing site in Carlow.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic microbiology laboratory supporting innovative healthcare solutions while developing your career within a high‑performing quality team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform microbiological testing including bioburden, environmental monitoring, WFI sampling, endotoxin testing, and plate enumeration

Ensure all laboratory activities follow GMP, GLP, and ALCOA data integrity principles

Support investigations, deviations, and non‑conformance activities

Maintain a compliant, audit‑ready laboratory environment

Contribute to SOPs, training materials, and continuous improvement initiatives

Work collaboratively while also managing tasks independently

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a Science‑related discipline

1–2 years’ experience in a GMP laboratory environment

Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, aseptic technique, and microbiology testing

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Experience in a microbiology lab environment is highly desirable

Shift Details 2 Cycle Shift Monday–Friday

07:00–15:00&14:45–22:45

Weekend Shift Rotation Week 1 Mon&Tues 07:00–17:00, Fri 07:00–17:00, Sat&Sun 12‑hour shifts between 07:00–21:00

Week 2 Wed&Thurs 07:00–19:00
