We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team.

As Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a high-quality breakfast service for hotel guests, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellent food standards. This role is ideal for a chef who enjoys early starts and takes pride in delivering a memorable dining experience.

Early morning start with flexibility to work 5 shifts per week over a 7-day period.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a high standard
• Ensure breakfast buffet and a la carte offerings are fully stocked and attractively presented
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
• Assist with ordering, stock rotation, and inventory management
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and ready for service
• Work closely with the wider kitchen team to support overall operations
• Assist with food preparation for other services including staff dining when required

What we are looking for

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef in a high-volume kitchen, or similar role
• Knowledge of breakfast preparation and service standards
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to work with a team efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays
