Job Description Headspace Lismore and Ballina involve young people in many aspects of decision-making at our centres, so young people’s voices stay front and centre. Our Young Person’s Advisory Group (YPAG) brings together passionate volunteers aged 12–25 who help ensure new headspace initiatives make a positive difference in the lives of young people.
We are interested in learning about you. All you need to do is tell us about yourself to express your interest.

Responsibilities&Skills
Build your understanding of how professional meetings work by attending monthly meetings and developing your confidence to speak up, share ideas, and lead discussions.
Contribute to the design and development of our centre, including shaping service delivery, policies, and staff recruitment and training at headspace Lismore and Ballina.
Gain experience in event planning and delivery by representing headspace Lismore and Ballina at events with local organisations, services, and schools.
Learn how mental health services are designed and shaped.
Access professional training opportunities.
Inclusion
Are an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young person.
Have a disability.
Identify as LGBTIQSB+.
Have experienced your own struggles.
Are passionate about improving mental health access for young people.
