We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Rehabilitation Assistant to join our dynamic team at Watermans Lodge, Ballina, Co. Tipperary Service, where person‑centred care is at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role As a Residential Rehabilitation Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting adults with an acquired brain injury to live with greater independence, confidence, and autonomy. Working as part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team, you will help those served build daily living skills, engage in meaningful activities, and work toward their personal rehabilitation goals. This role is hands‑on, varied, and deeply rewarding – every day you will contribute to creating a safe, supportive, person‑centred environment where individuals are empowered to make choices and participate fully in their community.
Contract Details
Permanent, Full‑time, 39 hours
Permanent, part‑time, 19.5 hours
The salary range will be€30,961‑44,534 depending on experience. The rate will be pro‑rated based on working 39 hours.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build respectful, trusting relationships and offer consistent support
Help create and guide personalised rehabilitation plans
Encourage independence through daily living skills, personal care, and goal‑focused activities
Work closely with the team, attend meetings, and keep progress updated on IPlanit
Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures
Assist persons served with budgeting, money management and disability benefits where applicable in line with organisational policy
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment

Relevant Health or Social Care qualification to a QQI Level 5 or higher
