The Accounts Assistant will support the finance team with day-to-day accounting duties, ensuring accurate and efficient processing across VAT, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general office administration. Key Responsibilities

Preparation and submission of VAT returns

Payroll processing (weekly / fortnightly / monthly)

Accounts administration and data entry

Assisting with accounts payable and receivable

Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting

Liaising with suppliers, clients, and internal departments

Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in an accounts, payroll, or finance support role

Good understanding of Irish VAT and payroll procedures

Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; accounting software experience is an advantage

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
