Pharmacy Technician - Blakes, Cellbridge, Celbridge

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare store, Blakes, in Cellbridge.

This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 7p.m. Monday to Friday, 9a.m. to 6p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The team currently comprises a 1 Retail Store Manager, a Support Pharmacist, a Relief Pharmacist, 1 Technician and 2 Healthcare Advisors.

The responsibilities of the role

Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements:

Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
