Payroll Manager - Kerry

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across Ireland and the UK. This is an excellent permanent and hybrid opportunity to join a busy Finance team and take ownership of end-to-end payroll processes while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Manage weekly and monthly payrolls across multiple entities in Ireland and the UK.Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data, including new hires, leavers, tax changes, pensions, benefits, and statutory deductions.Calculate and process variable payments, including bonuses, overtime, holiday pay, and sick pay.Prepare payroll journals, reconciliations, and statutory submissions to Revenue and pension providers.Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.Maintain payroll compliance, internal controls, and up-to-date payroll policies and procedures.Lead and develop Payroll team members and support payroll audits and year-end processes.Contribute to system improvements, reporting, and payroll-related projects.

Requirements:

5+ years' payroll experience, including experience in a leadership role.Proven experience managing multi-jurisdictional payrolls.IPASS qualification.Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices.Advanced Excel and payroll systems experience.Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
