Pharmacy Technician - Neilstown, Clondalkin

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a

Pharmacy Technician

to join the team in our

Hickeys Neilstown Pharmacy.

This is a 24‑hour specific purpose contract position with store opening hours operating between

9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday.

The team currently comprises a

Supervising Pharmacist, a Retail Store Manager, 3 Technicians, and 1 Sales Assistant.

This store has

manageable items and services.

The Responsibilities Of The Role

Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.

Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.

Control stock levels and order medicines as determined by store requirements.

Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.

Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).

IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.
