As a Graduate Health and Safety Consultantat Arup, you will:

Carry out the duties of Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) co‑ordinator on projects of varying sizes and complexities.

Carry out design health and safety reviews with our design teams on projects.

Provision of advice to clients and designers in relation to construction, operational and occupational health and safety.

Provide assistance to the Company Safety Officers in the implementation of our occupational safety management systems (which is OHSAS 18001 accredited).

Carry out design and construction safety reviews/inspections on construction sites and operational facilities.

We're looking for graduates who are currently pursuing a third level qualification in Health and Safety.

We Also Value

Third level qualification in another technical area within the construction industry, e.g., Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar.

Some knowledge of design and construction‑related health and safety legislation.

Some understanding of the PSDP role.

Some knowledge of Safety Management Systems.

Excellent communications, inter‑personal and writing skills.

Pro‑active approach to gathering and processing information with good follow‑through to completion.

Some construction site experience will also be an advantage.
