About the Role This position focuses on leading the delivery of a national events programme alongside integrated marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for ensuring events are executed to a high standard while supporting wider engagement and commercial goals.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in bringing event strategies to life through detailed planning, collaboration across teams, and ongoing performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities Delivering high-quality events
Plan and execute a range of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, ensuring a consistent and professional experience
Manage suppliers, venues, and logistics to ensure smooth delivery from start to finish
Align all activity with defined engagement and commercial objectives
Develop clear pre- and post-event processes, including risk management and performance reviews
Continuously improve delivery by capturing feedback and applying learnings
Driving engagement through marketing campaigns
Create and deliver multi-channel campaigns across digital, email, social, and on-campus activity
Work collaboratively to ensure messaging is consistent and impactful across all channels
Monitor campaign performance and use insights to optimise future activity
Support broader commercial objectives, including audience growth and market expansion
Operational planning and performance management
Oversee the events calendar, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed
Track key performance indicators such as attendance, satisfaction, and return on investment
Produce detailed reports to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
Manage event platforms and systems to ensure a seamless user experience and accurate data capture
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and introduce new ideas across workflows
Collaboration and stakeholder management
Work closely with internal teams across marketing, sales, content, and design to deliver integrated activity
Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and venues
Share insights and performance data to support wider business planning and strategyTake ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking across events and campaigns
Ensure accurate processing of invoices and purchase orders in line with internal procedures
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience delivering events and marketing campaigns in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Confidence working with data, metrics, and performance reporting
Experience managing budgets, suppliers, and stakeholder relationships
Clear and professional communication skills
A proactive, collaborative mindset and attention to detail
An interest in supporting students and improving access to career opportunities
Experience within education, early careers, or youth-focused marketing would be an advantage.
Additional Information
Full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Standard probationary period applies
Pre-employment checks will be required as part of the hiring process
