This is a developmental opportunity with no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. Duties

Receptionist / Administrator / Outreach Worker is required for the Education&Rights Resource Centre, Churchfield; and the Women Supporting Women and the Mná Feasa projects in St. Mary’s campus. All three projects fall under the Cork Anti-Poverty Resource Network, and the role is split between the 3 locations, all within walking distance. This is a Community Employment role, and eligibility for Community Employment is required. Check with your local social welfare office to confirm eligibility; generally, you must be in receipt of a social welfare payment for at least 12 months.Key responsibilities: Be the first point of contact for visitors and users at each centre (face to face and by phone). Training on MS Word, Publisher and Excel (required for administrative duties). Work some days in the Education&Rights Resource Centre (Churchfield Avenue) and other days in the Women Supporting Women and Mná Feasa projects (St. Mary’s campus, Gurranabraher). Administrative tasks: contacting volunteers, preparing volunteer rosters, assisting clients with forms, booking One-to-One sessions, greeting clients, answering phones, taking messages, ordering stationery.Outreach tasks: accompany staff/volunteers to raise awareness in supermarkets and public places; postal outreach (posting posters to organisations). Work with a friendly, nourishing team; training will be provided. Hours: 9.30– 2.30pm, 4/5 days a week. Application Method
