Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering Location: Dublin 18, Leopardstown– Hybrid opportunities available.

As part of ICON’s Finance group, the Finance Business Partnering team shapes financial strategy to support the execution of ICON’s broader objectives. The Senior Manager will provide strategic financial leadership, acting as a trusted adviser to senior leadership and ensuring financial strategies align with business goals to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Financial management of assigned large and complex global portfolios.

Collaborate closely with senior leadership teams to align financial goals with business strategy.

Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for VPs with insightful commentary and analysis, ensuring decisions are data‑driven.

Partner with various departments to achieve financial targets and optimize performance.

Act as a subject matter expert on financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Prepare presentations and reports for the board, executive leadership, and other stakeholders.

Lead business case evaluations for new initiatives.

Lead and mentor Finance colleagues to support performance and team development.

What We Are Looking For

Experience:

Proven experience within financial business partnering or senior finance management in complex, global organisations, including strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

Skills:

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence at all levels, navigate a large global organisation, proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel (e.g., financial modelling).

Leadership:

Proven leadership experience with coaching and mentoring, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Business Acumen:

Strong commercial acumen, able to translate financial data into actionable insights, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving in ambiguous environments.

Qualifications:

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and a degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
