Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Assistant Head Chef to support daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality Japanese cuisine.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely food preparation

Deliver consistent food quality by maintaining high standards in presentation, taste, and portion control

Collaborate in menu planning and implement seasonal updates to enhance customer experience

Monitor and control food cost, track inventory levels, and minimize wastage to optimize resources

Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to improve performance and maintain team cohesion

Enforce hygiene and food safety standards to comply with regulatory requirements and ensure customer safety

Required competencies and certifications

Experience in preparing Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi, and hot kitchen dishes

Ability to support and manage kitchen operations effectively

Basic knowledge of food cost control and inventory management

Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and other departments
