As we enter an exciting new chapter with the introduction of Bask Thermal Spa, a unique, design‑led wellness experience offering tranquil pools, thermal rooms, and immersive relaxation journeys, we are redefining what a city stay can be.

We are now seeking a Head Chef to lead our culinary vision and elevate our food offering to match this enhanced guest experience.

This is more than a kitchen leadership role—it’s an opportunity to shape a holistic hospitality experience, where food, wellbeing, and design come together.

With the launch of Bask, guests will be seeking nourishing, high‑quality, and thoughtfully curated dining options to complement their wellness journey. As Head Chef, you will play a key role in defining this offering.

Your Role You will lead all kitchen operations across the hotel, including our 1863 Lounge, Sports Bar and breakfast service in both properties.

Key Responsibilities

Design innovative, seasonal menus that balance indulgence and wellness

Introduce fresh, health‑conscious options aligned with the Bask spa experience

Lead, inspire, and develop a high‑performing kitchen team

Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency

Manage kitchen operations including staffing, training, and compliance

Drive cost control, minimise waste, and optimise profitability

Collaborate with hotel leadership to deliver seamless guest experiences

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a quality hotel or hospitality environment

A creative mindset with a passion for modern, guest‑focused dining

Strong leadership and team development skills

Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and kitchen performance

HACCP Level 3 certification

A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
