Construction Supervisor, Dublin Pike

Senior Accessibility Advisor Job Purpose We are seeking a Senior Accessibility Advisor to lead and deliver accessibility-focused projects within the Construction sector. This role involves managing on-site projects, conducting inspections, preparing Revised Disability Access Certificates, performing accessibility audits, coordinating documentation and compliance, and providing expert advisory services. The focus of this position is to ensure compliance with Part M of the Building Regulations, Universal Design, and best practice accessibility standards. Strong relationships with stakeholders across public, private, and non-profit sectors are key, along with a high degree of flexibility and creativity.

Reporting to Construction Manager

Main Areas of Responsibility

Full project management for a portfolio of accessibility projects.

Attend client meetings and provide regular project updates.

Act as main point of contact with clients, fostering strong relationships.

Identify solutions to project challenges while maintaining compliance requirements.

Ensure on-site compliance with Disability Access Certificates and Part M through inspections, technical reviews, and coordination of testing&commissioning documentation.

Prepare inspection plans and documentation for Revised Disability Access Certificate applications.

Oversee and support work carried out by other staff, including allocation, peer reviews, technical advice, and on-the-job training.

Continuously develop accessibility knowledge and contribute to the wider accessibility community.

Support the development of accessibility awareness internally through newsletters, presentations, and CPDs.

Role Requirements

Qualification in Building Surveying, Architecture, Construction, or Engineering with strong design skills.

3+ years’ experience managing construction site projects.

Experience in accessibility compliance projects is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of accessibility standards including Part M/TGD M, BS8300, and Universal Design principles.

Passion for accessibility and commitment to continuous technical development.

Proficiency in drawing reviews and presentation techniques.

Effective project management skills, with a track record of delivering multiple projects on time and within budget.

Skilled in client relationship management and problem-solving.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
