Description
Pastry Manager– responsible for supervising the pastry service across the resort kitchens, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, private dining and room service. Responsibilities
Ensure that all dishes leaving the pastry sections are presented correctly and taste excellent. Train and develop personnel within the pastry section and liaise with them regarding training manuals. Order all food items in a cost‑conscious and timely manner. Standardise recipes for pastry and bakery and ensure photographs of each item are available.Store goods correctly and hygienically in accordance with HACCP specifications. Adhere to cleaning schedules for the pastry section and maintain high hygiene standards as per HACCP requirements. Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Genuine passion for food. Qualification in culinary arts or similar is desired. Extensive knowledge of food handling standards and presentation. Experience in maintaining HACCP certification. Benefits
