Description
Overview The Operations Tech Analyst Programme (OA) is a 9-month rotational programme for soon‑to‑be and recent graduates. It blends education, skill building, and exposure to Susquehanna and the financial services industry, preparing you for a full‑time role designing and developing applications and processes for the operations department.
Our Programme As an
Operations Tech Analyst , you will be exposed to the full lifecycle of Susquehanna’s trading activity and develop a foundational understanding of the industry. Trading operations sit at the intersection of trading, technology and external counterparties. Within the team you will decompose problems, develop technology solutions, and manage the full life‑cycle (Design, Build, Test, Maintain) of each application that the Trading Operations Tech team owns.
Your rotations will include hands‑on experience and real‑time tech projects across all trading desks and business areas. You’ll work with in‑house technology development teams and collaborate closely with tactical teams, giving you the chance to see how your work has an immediate impact on the firm.
What’s in it for you
Education: Susquehanna’s in‑house education program, with seminars on business, products and technology (Excel, SQL, Python, etc.).
Support: A mentor from the trading operations team for each rotation and a buddy who previously served as an Operations Tech Analyst.
Real Impact: Solutions you develop will be immediately implemented by the teams.
Culture: A non‑hierarchical environment that encourages collaboration and continuous development.
Perks: Free on‑site catering, a games room, a large in‑house gym and other amenities in the heart of Dublin.
What we’re looking for
Passion for Tech: Strong coding skills, especially in Python, SQL, VBA or other relevant languages; up to 80% of the role involves coding.
Problem‑solver: Ability to tackle puzzles, discuss ideas and find optimal solutions with others.
Communicator: Comfortable building relationships, sharing ideas, and listening to perspectives.
Ambitious: Driven to set goals and work hard to achieve them in any domain.
Numerical&Logical: Uses data‑driven reasoning for decision‑making.
Interest in Finance: Curiosity about financial markets and front‑office trading environment.
Curious: Eager to understand the Finance sector and operations within a front‑office setting.
Soon‑to‑be or recent graduate: Program starts early September 2026.
