Are you ready to take the next step in your career within a fast-paced, global financial services environment? We are seeking an experienced professional to join a high-performing pricing and valuation team supporting complex hedge fund portfolios.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of financial instruments, including OTC derivatives and hard-to-value assets, while collaborating with international colleagues and industry-leading clients.
The Role In this position, you will play a key role in overseeing pricing and valuation activities across a diverse range of asset classes. You will contribute both technically and strategically, acting as a subject matter expert while supporting team development and client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and monitoring service delivery standards with internal and external stakeholders
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including reconciliations, market data, and technology support
Acting as a senior point of contact for clients, boards, and valuation committees
Reviewing team output, mentoring colleagues, and leading performance discussions
Supporting onboarding and transitions of new or migrating client relationships
Driving process improvements, system implementations, and operational projects
Performing independent valuation of derivatives using pricing models
Investigating valuation discrepancies and resolving pricing challenges
Analysing financial models and supporting bespoke modelling requirements
Reviewing valuation policies and Level 3 asset methodologies
Keeping up to date with market developments, valuation standards, and regulatory guidance
About You You are a technically strong and commercially aware professional with a passion for financial markets and derivatives.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
5–7+ years’ experience in areas such as derivative valuation, risk management, quantitative analysis, or OTC trading
Strong knowledge of financial instruments and pricing methodologies
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including board-level interactions
Previous team leadership or mentoring experience (advantageous)
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with tools such as VBA and SQL
Programming knowledge (beneficial)
A solid grounding in quantitative disciplines such as mathematics, statistics, or financial engineering
A degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics…
