Shift Manager - Food Manufacturing (County, Cork) About the Role Our client, a leading player in the food manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join their high-performing production team in the Cork region. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across safety, quality, efficiency, and team performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate shift teams to meet production KPIs and quality standards Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and hygiene protocols Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, logistics, technical, and maintenance Manage labour efficiency and control operational costs Support and deputise for the Production Manager when required Maintain accurate HR and operational records Drive initiatives to improve product quality and system/process efficiency Candidate Profile We're looking for a dynamic and proactive leader with: Minimum 2 years' supervisory/management experience in food manufacturing Strong understanding of production systems (SAP/MES/SCADA experience highly desirable) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Proven ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment A third-level qualification in a relevant field is desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong numerical/reporting skills Why Apply?
