Job Title: Financial Controller About the Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Financial Controller to lead the finance function within a dynamic, multi-site organisation. This is a key position offering strong exposure to senior leadership, where you will play an integral role in shaping financial strategy, improving processes, and supporting business performance. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will act as a trusted partner to operational teams while ensuring best-in-class financial reporting and controls. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, delivering clear insights and meaningful analysis to support decision-making Partner with operational teams on budgeting and forecasting, helping to drive business performance Maintain strong financial controls, including oversight of balance sheet reconciliations and fixed assets Manage compliance and lead the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors Monitor costs and provide detailed analysis on payroll and labour metrics to identify efficiencies Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations Take ownership of cash flow forecasting, banking, and working capital management Identify and implement improvements across finance processes, systems, and controls Act as a key support to the Finance Director, with opportunities to step into a broader leadership capacity About You Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) Proven experience in financial reporting and management accounting Strong Excel and systems skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving A natural communicator who can build relationships across both finance and non-finance teams Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in a multi-site or similar environment is advantageous Why Join?
