Position: Policy Engagement and Research Impact Manager (Temporary)
UCD Research is establishing a dedicated policy engagement and research impact function within the Research Impact and Analytics team. The Manager will lead initiatives supporting evidence‑informed policy making, increasing research impact, and enabling knowledge translation. Working closely with UCD research community, research institutes, academic leaders, professional teams and policy makers, the post holder will embed effective approaches to planning, capturing, and communicating research for policy and impact across UCD. The service will be part of UCD's Research Integrated Service (RIS).
Salary Scale:
€72,030 – €84,170 per annum
Responsibilities
Lead initiatives that support evidence‑informed policy making.
Increase research impact and facilitate knowledge translation.
Embed effective approaches to planning, capturing, and communicating research for policy and impact across UCD.
Collaborate with UCD research community, research institutes, academic leaders, professional teams and policy makers.
Operate within UCD's Research Integrated Service (RIS).
Desired Skills and Experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with research impact frameworks.
Understands and influences the internal and external research environment.
Ability to design and apply methods to assess, monitor, and evaluate research for policy and impact.
