Our client is seeking Welders for immediate start at their facility in Wilton, Co. Cork. Qualifications

1-3 years of previous welding experience required. Welding certification preferred but not essential. No minimum academic requirements. Further training will be provided on-the-job as required. Candidates must be able to MIG weld, perform fillet welds and read drawings. General Duties / Responsibilities

Operate welding equipment to join metalwork pieces. Use fusion welding processes based on various techniques and materials. Perform simple visual inspection of welds. Perform fillet welds, MIG welding and read drawings. Wear appropriate protective gear and adhere to safety standards. Smooth burrred surfaces and recognise metal imperfections.Essential Knowledge&Skills

Knowledge

Welding from drawings (2D and 3D), MIG welding, fillet welds. Welding techniques, torch temperature for metal processes, metal thermal conductivity, fuel gas. Skills

Aligning components, joining metals and operating welding equipment, including oxy-fuel torch. Apply arc welding techniques and precision metalworking techniques. Ensure correct metal temperature and handle fuels. Recognise signs of corrosion and remove inadequate workpieces. Perform metal active gas welding and inert gas welding.Experience

1-3 years of relevant experience as a welder. Compensation

Annual remuneration:€36,605.00; Pay rate €18.05 per hour. Location
