based in on the outskirts of Cork city, is an the Irish owned, specialist provider of accounting, tax and payroll services for freelancers, contractors and the self-employed has a clear focus to make independent work easier. With almost twenty-five years in business, our experienced team in Cork, Dublin and India pride themselves on a culture with core values of integrity, positivity, accountability and innovation.They are seeking a Financial Accountant to advise, collaborate and build trusting relationships with their clients in a largely consultative role If you thrive on autonomy and can prioritise high impact work, possess excellent communication skills, demonstrating service driven behaviors and can proactively spot opportunities for improvements and can influence change then this is the perfect job for youWhat you will be doing:
Managing your own portfolio of clients in a fast-paced environment, responding to queries related to invoicing, expenses, payroll, and company accounts. Partner closely with clients, enabling them to focus on their core business by applying strong problem-solving skills to complex queries and ensuring the smooth monthly operation of their finances.Apply excellent organisational and administrative skills to effectively multitask and consistently deliver a high standard of client service. Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve problems effectively and efficiently. Identify areas of improvement or automation to deliver the highest quality service.Help develop initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and retention. Candidate Profile:
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Proven experience in an accounting role preparing financial statements, analysing financial data and preparation of general statutory filings ensuring adherence to tax regulation. Proven experience in Irish payroll. Motivated and a self-starter with initiative and a strong emphasis on delivery and execution.Strong administration and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and level of accuracy. Flexible, creative, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This is very much a client focused role with emphasis on providing excellent customer service. We like to engage with our clients personally so excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are an absolute requirement.Salary and benefits
