Administrator– DETE Pensions Unit

Location:

Dublin

Salary (contributory):

€32,045 to €58,599 per annum

Rising to€60,510 and €62,435 by long service increments.

Salary (non-contributory):

€30,753 to €55,819 per annum

Rising to€57,618 and €59,424 by long service increments.

Candidates should note that entry will be at the minimum of the relevant scale and the rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. Subject to satisfactory performance, increments may be payable in line with current Government Policy.

Point of entry on this salary scale may differ from the minimum point of the scale if the successful candidate is a current public or civil servant.

Role Purpose The successful candidate will have responsibility for a broad range of administrative activities within the DETE Pensions Unit. This includes conducting research and providing accurate, timely information to retirees and former staff who are entitled to a preserved benefit pension. The role also requires regular communication and engagement with retirees, bereaved family members and all relevant stakeholders.

The post holder will work as part of a small team to deliver an efficient, high-quality administrative service to current retirees, as well as former staff of the legacy Agencies regarding preserved benefit pension entitlements.
