Mechanical Automation&Maintenance Fitting - Apprenticeship First year apprentice vacancy. Harold Engineering Ltd requires an apprentice MAMF to train as a Field Service Engineer with a focus on compressed air&garage equipment division. The role will comprise service and maintenance calls to a large existing customer base in Dublin and surrounding counties. The position is open to first year apprentices.

Responsibilities

Gain knowledge, experience and support while learning to install, maintain and repair compressed air plant, garage equipment and ancillary equipment within customer sites while working alongside qualified and competent persons.

Learn how to carry out planned preventive maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules.

Deal with reactive maintenance calls as required and learn valuable on‑the‑job experience.

Identify and implement PM improvements on equipment.

Become familiar with the process of maintaining computerised and manual records/reports and liaise with service department personnel, suppliers and customers alike.

Requirements

Experience in an MAMF role would be beneficial.

Basic electrical experience would be beneficial.

Hands‑on approach to solving problems, learning on the job is a must.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Flexibility in terms of operational requirements and customer demands; willingness to travel to other sites as part of reactive maintenance.

Flexibility to work flexible patterns as and when required by reactive maintenance schedule.
