This is a client facing, delivery focused role within a growing Data&AI practice with an established tech consultancy in Dublin city centre. You will lead the end-to-end design and delivery of data architectures in complex environments, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and analytics ready. The ideal candidate is a strategic designer, not a data engineer. Lead the design of enterprise data architectures for AI, reporting, and analytics. Work with clients to resolve technical data debt and translate their requirements into specific tech stacks. Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models, including relational and dimensional designs. Embed data governance, quality, and security controls into every design.Contribute to bids, tenders, and proposal development to help shape new client offerings. Act as an individual contributor while taking responsibility for career coaching, mentoring, and the technical development of junior teams and future managers. Required Skills&Experience

5+ years of experience as a Data Architect. Background in consultancy or large-scale industry (ideally Financial Services) is preferred. Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with integration tools such as ADF, SSIS, Kafka, or Talend. Experience with data warehouses, lakehouses, and platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within Agile or hybrid models. The leadership style in this practice is open, collaborative, and non-micromanaging.
