are delighted to partner with our client, a rapidly growing Life&Pension firm to hire a newly created Regional Business Manager to support their strategic growth in Dublin.

The Regional Business Manager plays a pivotal role in driving our client’s growth strategy within the Irish Life&Pensions broker market. This position is responsible for developing strong regional and national broker relationships, shaping sales performance, and ensuring the successful execution of our commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Set sales targets, monitor performance metrics, and provide guidance to the broker account leaders to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Support the department with market analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and trends in the Life&Pension insurance market.

Develop a team of broker consultants to support the company’s targets.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with brokers and relevant broker and industry bodies.

Represent the client as required at broker events.

Oversee day‑to‑day operations of brokers account team and ensure efficient processes are in place.

Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasting to ensure cost‑effective operation.

Use appropriate sales tools to track and enhance sales performance.

Deliver required training to brokers on company products.

Key Performance Indicators

Achievement of overall annual sales target for assigned brokers.

Broker visits to ensure full coverage of the assigned brokers.

Engaging brokers to sign distribution agreements.

Delivery of ad hoc specific company projects and initiatives.

Required Qualifications&Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related financial services field; a relevant master’s would be advantageous.

QFA and/or CFP is essential.

Minimum of 5‑10 years of experience in sales in the life insurance industry.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Broad understanding of investment, pension and protection products and risk management.

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate broker consultants.

Proven track record in a previous role, developing and executing sales and distribution strategy in the Irish broker market.

Knowledge of key profit drivers in delivering overall sales margins and company profits.
