Analog Devices is looking for an intelligent and versatile **Senior RFIC Design Engineer** to work with our **RF Semiconductors** team, based in **Limerick, Ireland**, who will be responsible for RFIC product developments
for various markets.**Context on the role**
As a Senior RFIC Design Engineer, you are an experienced and fully competent engineer in your area. You’ll complete your role independently or with minimal supervision, working under limited direction. You’ll resolve problems of diverse scope using analysis and judgment within defined policies and practices, and you’ll communicate your work in a way that’s reflected in others’ work. You mayalso mentor and professionally influence the growth of more junior engineers.**Job Duties*** **Integrated circuit design** at transistor level for RF blocks* **Design evaluation**, including first-silicon characterization and detailed analysis* **Design and development** for RF products with various process and packaging technologies* **Problem resolution** for issues requiring analysis of identifiable factors, developing approaches and recommendations within defined practices* **Project contributions and leadership**, representing the organization on projects and, as needed, taking on a project leadership role* **Cross-functional communication**, including effective group communication and frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts where required* **Documentation**, preparing required documentation and reports for product development* **Mentorship (as applicable)**, supporting the career growth and technical development of lower-level employees**Requirements*** Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (M.S. preferred; PhD a plus)* Typically requires **4+ years** relevant experience* Solid understanding of **S-parameters, transmission line theory, and RF networks*** Skills necessary to **innovate, design, simulate, and verify** circuit performance at the transistor level and behavioral/architectural level, with strong RF fundamentals* Experience in circuit design environments such as **Cadence** and **ADS*** Skills in electromagnetic simulators such as**EMPro** and/or **HFSS** (plus)* Experience in test equipment and RF characterization (plus)* Motivated, results-oriented, and organized engineer with good writing, presentation, and overall communication skills* Willingness and ability to learn something new quickly* Comfortable taking calculatedrisks* Bias for action and collaboration to deliver results* High tolerance for ambiguity#LI-CC1*For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export
