Corporate Applications Senior Project Manager ,
to join their team.
This position is based in
Dublin 1 ,
with engagement across other sites may be required. The position will also be working on a
hybrid model
with
3 days on site
and
2 days remote.
This is a
temporary
position; the initial contract duration is
for 12 months
with the possibility of extension thereafter.
Based off a
35-hour work week
the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid a
daily rate of€281.66.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Project Leadership
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale corporate application projects and programmes.
Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, timelines, dependencies, and governance structures.
Provide strategic input into corporate digital transformation initiatives and application roadmaps.
Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, escalating where appropriate.
Project Planning and Management
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and resource forecasts.
Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed milestones, quality standards, and organisational priorities.
Track project performance using appropriate methodologies and reporting tools.
Ensure effective benefits realisation and post-implementation review processes are in place.
Stakeholder Engagement and Governance
Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, including corporate service leads, executive management, and IT leadership.
Facilitate effective decision-making through strong project governance, reporting, and assurance processes.
Translate business and operational requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
Corporate Applications Oversight
Oversee the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of corporate applications.
Ensure integration and interoperability between systems where required.
Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and replacement initiatives with minimal business disruption.
Champion best practice approaches to application lifecycle management.
Post-Implementation and Long-Term Support
Provide ongoing support for corporate applications following go-live, ensuring systems remain stable, effective, and aligned with business needs.
Act as a liaison between end-users, IT support teams, and vendors to log, track, and help resolve post-implementation issues.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all projects comply with organisational policies, data protection legislation, cybersecurity standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Contribute to information governance, audit readiness, and risk assessments for corporate systems.
Change Management, Training, and Adoption
Develop and oversee change management and communication strategies to support organisational adoption.
Ensure appropriate training materials and user support structures are developed and implemented.
Work with business leads to drive user engagement and system adoption.
Documentation, Reporting, and Assurance
Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, including business cases, plans, risk logs, testing artefacts, and lessons learned.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership, programme boards, and governance committees.
Provide clear visibility of progress, risks, achievements, and recommendations.
Qualifications, Skills, Competencies and/or Knowledge
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Information Technology ,
Computer Science ,
Business Information Systems , or a related discipline
Extensive experience delivering
enterprise or corporate application projects , ideally within healthcare or the public sector
Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and outcomes
A pragmatic, hands‑on approach suited to a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Criteria for the role Applicants must meet
one
of the following criteria:
Minimum
3–5 years’ experience
managing enterprise or corporate application projects within a complex organisation (preferably healthcare or public sector)
or
Significant experience in
health informatics, corporate systems, or enterprise IT project delivery , with demonstrable responsibility for large-scale or multi-stream projects
This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role
