Loan Operations&Credit Administration Manager Alternative Investment Services | Dublin | Hybrid Working
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced loans professional to join a rapidly growing investment services organisation supporting some of the world’s leading alternative investment managers.
This role is ideal for someone with
strong knowledge of syndicated bank loans and credit markets
who enjoys working in a fast-moving, client-focused environment. You’ll join a collaborative and high-performing team where innovation, technology, and professional development are genuinely valued.
The Opportunity As part of a specialist operations team, you will take ownership of complex client relationships and act as a key escalation point across loan administration activities. You will also play an important role in mentoring colleagues, supporting process improvements, and contributing to the continued growth of the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing day-to-day servicing of bank loan portfolios across a range of alternative investment clients
Acting as a primary contact for clients and internal stakeholders on loan-related matters
Reviewing and processing loan activity including repayments, rollovers, interest payments, fee calculations, and rate resets
Supporting loan closings, delayed compensation calculations, and pricing activities
Analysing credit agreements and ensuring operational accuracy in line with market standards
Working with industry platforms and loan administration systems
Providing technical guidance and training to global teams on loan products and processes
Supporting the onboarding of new client relationships and operational transitionsBuilding strong relationships with senior stakeholders across clients and counterparties
About You We are keen to speak with ambitious and motivated professionals who are looking to take the next step in their career within alternative investment operations.
The ideal candidate will have:
5–8 years’ experience within hedge funds, fund services, banking, or a similar financial services environment
Strong knowledge of syndicated bank loans, credit products, and loan market operations
Hands‑on experience in loan administration, servicing, or closing processes
Familiarity with loan systems and market platforms such as ClearPar, Wall Street Office, or similar tools
A solid understanding of LSTA/LMA documentation and market conventions
Experience reviewing and interpreting complex credit agreements
Previous people management or team leadership experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with strong attention to detail
