My client, a growing retail business with multiple locations across North County Dublin is hiring an HR Generalist for a maternity 12 month FTC.
This is a hands‑on HR support role where you will act as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day HR queries across the business, while also providing some administrative support to the payroll process managed by an external provider.
There is real scope for this role to grow and evolve as the business continues to expand beyond the initial contract.
What you will be doing
Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries
Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes
Assisting with recruitment across multiple retail locations
Managing HR administration and employee records
Providing administrative support to the monthly payroll process
Collating payroll information including timesheets and hours worked
Liaising with the external payroll provider as required
Supporting with ad‑hoc HR and administrative duties as needed
While not essential, experience in the following areas would be a strong advantage
Supporting with employee relations matters such as absence management, performance issues or disciplinary processes
Providing guidance to managers on day‑to‑day HR queries
Assisting with policy updates or HR process improvements
What we are looking for
2-5 yr experience in a HR admin or HR generalist role
CIPD qualified / HR Degree
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment
A hands‑on approach with a willingness to get involved across different areas
Strong communication skills
The details
Initially 12‑month fixed term contract (maternity cover)
Fully on‑site role, Monday to Friday
Travel to North Dublin Units on occasion for meetings
North County Dublin location
Free on‑site parking
Salary is open depending on experience
