Essential Eligibility Criteria

Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics&Physiological Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology in Kevin Street, or equivalent.

Must be eligible to work full time in Ireland.

Be enthusiastic, competent, hardworking and willing to develop new skills.

Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with management, consultants, staff, patients and visitors to the hospital.

Role Responsibilities

Perform routine work to the highest standard, as determined

Perform and analyse Electrocardiography (ECG) recordings

Perform and analyse Holter monitoring studies and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM)

Perform and analyse exercise stress testing

Perform and analyse echocardiography and associated cardiac studies, appropriate to level of training

Perform haemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation during invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures

Perform and analyse aspects of cardiac rhythm device management, including implant support, routine follow‑up, and basic programming under supervision

Additional Responsibilities

Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times

Adhere to infection control, health and safety, and professional standards

Participate in training, supervision, and continuous professional development

Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary cardiac team line with departmental and hospital policies and clinical governance requirements
