The Role Kogneos is seeking professional, highly organised, and customer-focused Event Support Coordinators to support the delivery of international hackathons and technical events across Europe and the United States.

This role is ideal for recent graduates in Business, Project Management, Operations, or related professional disciplines who are eager to build a career in global event operations and program delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, customer stakeholders, and event partners to ensure the seamless execution of high-profile technical events.

The position is based in Ireland but requires frequent international travel, often for extended periods, to support on-site event delivery. Flexibility, professionalism, and a willingness to work in fast-paced environments are essential.

Due to the significant international travel requirements associated with this role, applicants must hold either Irish/EU citizenship or a valid Stamp 4 permission. Unfortunately, applications from Stamp 1G visa holders cannot be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities Event Logistics&Operations

Coordinate the shipment, tracking, and management of event equipment and materials across multiple international locations.

Support venue preparation, event set-up, registration operations, signage, and breakout spaces.

Ensure all event materials, branding, and equipment are prepared and delivered on time.

Coordinate with vendors, venues, AV teams, and external suppliers to ensure smooth event execution.

Maintain inventory records and oversee the packing, storage, and return of event equipment after each event.

Support on-site troubleshooting and operational issue resolution during live events.

Act as a professional on-site representative for Kogneos during customer events and hackathons.

Engage daily with customer stakeholders, including Google teams and partner organisations, ensuring a high-quality event experience.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal delivery teams.

Provide responsive support to attendees, facilitators, and stakeholders throughout event delivery.

Event Delivery Support

Assist Program Managers and technical teams during hackathons and training events.

Support attendee registration, session coordination, scheduling, and event communications.

Coordinate speaker logistics, workshop timings, and event-day operational activities.

Monitor event progress and elevate issues where required to ensure successful delivery.

Assist with post-event wrap-up activities including reporting, feedback collection, and asset recovery.

Administrative&Coordination Support

Support travel coordination and accommodation logistics for event teams where required.

Maintain event documentation, operational checklists, runbooks, and reporting trackers.

Assist with reporting on event attendance, engagement, operational outcomes, and lessons learned.

Ensure adherence to internal operational standards and customer delivery expectations.

Required Skills&Experience

Recent graduate in Business, Project Management, Operations, Management, or a related professional discipline.

Strong organisational, planning, and multitasking abilities.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Professional, polished, and confident working with enterprise-level stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail and ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Proactive, solutions-focused, and adaptable mindset.

Strong administrative and coordination capabilities.

Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Europe and the US.

Irish/EU citizenship or valid Stamp 4 work permission required.

Additional Desired Qualifications

Internship or early-career experience supporting events, operations, project coordination, or customer-facing business environments.

Experience working in fast-paced operational or delivery-focused teams.

Interest in technology, cloud learning, or technical enablement programs.

Familiarity with large-scale events, hackathons, or enterprise customer programs is advantageous.
